The professional liability insurance of the auditors and certified public accountants is with VSW – Die Versicherergemeinschaft für Steuerberater und Wirtschaftsprüfer, Dotzheimer Str. 23 in 65185 Wiesbaden. The geographical scope of the insurance cover includes activities in the member states of the European Union and thus at least meets the requirements of § 51 Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO), § 67 Tax Consultancy Act (StBerG), §§ 51 et seq. Act on the Implementation of the Regulations on Tax Consultants, Tax Agents and Tax Consulting Companies (DVStB), § 54 German Code of Professional Conduct for Auditors (WPO) in conjunction with the Act on Professional Liability Insurance for Auditors and Certified Public Accountants (WPBHV).
